چندین مورد در این نگارگری قابل تامل است.
ستار بگ قره قانی و آن هیزم شکن مازندرانی در واقع سربازان قشون ایران بودند که به دلیل کمی مواجب مجبور به دستفروشی بوده اند.
در تهران قدیم پیشه سربازان مازندرانی بیشتر هیزم شکنی بوده تا مشق نظام.
در اوایل سلسله قاجار کلاه های پوست بره کوتاه مد شده و کم کم شال کلاه در مراسم رسمی استفاده می شد.
هر سال پول نقره زیادی از ایران برای خرید پوست بره بخارا از کشور خارج می شد و از آن برای ساخت کلاه های بلند مانند دوره امیر نظام و میرزا آقاخان استفاده می شد.
در اواسط دولت تصمیم به تغییر این مد گرفت و در سر خیابان مامورانی با قیچی کلاه های پوستی بلند را کوتاه می کردند.
