Lighting with electric light bulbs became popular in the 20th century in Iran and has been an integral part of celebrating religious holidays (such as the Mab’ath or Sha’ban) and public celebrations (such as 4th of Aban before the revolution and Fajr after the revolution). Today colour bulbs and fluorescent lights are used widely for outdoor lightings and Illuminations.<\/p>\n
