Iran Air Pre-1979
Iran Air is the flag carrier airline of Iran.
Iran Air’s old acronym, Homa, is derived from two sources: the initial letters of its pre-Revolutionary Persian name, Havapeyma’i-ye Melli-ye Iran, and from Homa, a griffin of Iranian mythology.
