Contemporary Mosques & Shrines
Today’s architecture and design of mosques in Iran is becoming simpler and less elaborate than before. Most of these new mosques look more like half-built structures and are vaguely reminiscent of the glorious mosques of the past. Green is the dominant colour used in the majority of these contemporary mosques.

من خودم گرفتمش. البته این مسجد نیست, امامزاده است و به تازگی هم ساخته شده. یعنی فکر کنم ساختش هشت نه سال پیش شروع شد. الان تقریبا یک ساله که تموم شده. این امامزاده تو شهر چابکسر هست در استان گیلان. برای من خیلی جالب بود که همچه طرحی رو برای ساختش استفاده کردن. چون در عین حال که از عناصر معماری سنتی توش استفاده کردن رنگبندیش یه رنگبندی جدیده. انتظار نداشتم که تو یه شهر کوچیک همچه دقتی صرف انتخاب طرح برای امام زاده بشه. ساختمان قبلی امامزاده مثل اغلب امامزاده های گیلان بود. سقف شیروانی و دیوار کاهگلی و اینا.
